Comparative Evaluation of Stabilizers on the Compressive Strength of Compressed and Stabilized Raw Earth Bricks by Design of Experiments Methodology
This paper presents a comparative evaluation of the influence of different stabilizers on the compressive strength of compressed and stabilized raw earth bricks. Through mechanical testing and comparative analyses, the study examines the effectiveness of various stabilizing agents (such as cement, lime) in improving the mechanical properties of earthen bricks. The experimental results reveal a significant difference in mechanical performance between the two stabilizers, The cemented system has a maximum compressive strength of 15 MPa. The lime-based formulation achieves a limit value of 12.95 MPa. The results help identify the most efficient solutions to optimize the durability and strength of earthen building materials.

Mechanical Behavior of Mud Bricks Stabilized with Two Types of Stabilizer
This article aims to contribute the effect of the stabilizer used on the mechanical properties of compressed and stabilized raw earth bricks. The prepared specimens were tested for compressive strength. The results reveal that a sandy soil mixture (red) generates the optimal composition, achieving an average compressive strength of 14.19 MPa, with cement stabilization and a water content of 12%.

Experimental study of the absorption of capillary water in a compressed and stabilized mud brick
The development of innovative and ecological building materials is a major challenge for sustainable development. The use of natural raw materials, such as earthy materials, offers a promising solution. A thorough analysis of the behavior of these materials with a high-water content is essential to ensure their reliability. This study focuses on the evaluation of the capillary absorption and compressive strength of a compressed and stabilized raw earth brick. Samples were fabricated and tested, revealing that the sandy type soil (red) mixture has an average compressive strength of 15,57 MPa and an absorption rate of 16.35 %.

The effect of soil type and water content on the physical and mechanical properties of a compressed and stabilized mud brick by design of experiments methodology
This research will evaluate the influence of various soil types and water levels on the physical and mechanical properties of a compressed and stabilized earth bricks. Samples were prepared and evaluated for compressive strength, capillary water absorption, porosity. Analyzing the impact of different soil compositions and moisture levels on the performance of mud bricks would make it possible to optimize construction materials and construction methods. The results demonstrate that the sandy (red) soil mixture combines well with the clay (grey) to produce an optimal composition, achieving an average compressive strength of 13 MPa, an average porosity of 7.7% and an absorption rate of 4.5 %.

This experimental research aims to examine the impact of the type of soil on the permeability and absorption of a compressed and stabilized raw earth brick. Samples were prepared and evaluated based on their compression resistance, their water absorption by capillarity, their total immersion water absorption, their porosity, their reaction to ultrasound, and their water permeability. The results demonstrate that the mixture of sandy type (red) soil combines well with (gray) clay to produce the optimal composition, achieving an average compression resistance of 17 MPa, an average porosity of 7.7%, and an absorption rate of 4.5%
