Industrial Waste - Case of the Industrial Zone “Palma” -Constantine City-
Te industrial boom and the industry development growing in the last decade is, undeniably, a major element contributing to the economic development of the country. Tis development is often equated with the destruction of the environment and is accompanied by impacts on both nature and ecological system. While industrial spaces have become, in fact, the origin of the problems caused to the urban landscape and inextricably linked to the damage that the environment suffer from given the multiple sources of nuisance: liquid, solid and gaseous that are generate it. Te industry of Constantine, as a result of its location integrated into the urban space, especially at the level of the industrial zone “Palma “, the nature of the industrial activities and untreated wastes released into the environment contribute signifcantly to the degradation of the quality of the urban environment. However, there is a lot to doby the industrial sector and the state concerning the awareness of environmental considerations at the level of the city. Te ambition of this article is to identify the impact of wastes and discharges of industrial companies at the level of the industrial zone “Palma” in Constantine on the natural and urban environment of the city of the old rock. It is also to know the industries located in this area and the types of wastes and the danger that can be generated by these industries in order to develop the subject of industrial wastes with a global vision. La pollution environnementale et son impact sur la santé des enfants.
The period of childhood is a period of vulnerability, any dangerous exposure of the health during this period from the surrounding environment can lead to permanent disorders of development and health status. Several environmental factors play a determining role in children's health and interact in complex manners. This article focuses on one of the environmental factors - environmental pollution of air, water and the environment - and exposure to chemicals substances that can harm the health of children. It also aims to shed the light on the problem of child health and to promote the taking of preventive and protective measures, in order to reduce the exposure of children to daily environmental attacks which can have immediate effects not only on the development of the child, but also a long-term consequence the have repercussions in adulthood and sometimes even before birth. la dimension écologique de la ville. cas d’étude : la ville d’Ain Smara à Constantine
Rapid urbanization and its impact on the environment and the climate place the city at the center of the priorities, which leads to an acceleration in taking into account the requirements of sustainable development. The concept of sustainable development has become popular following the emergence of environmental agreements calling for the ecological dimension to be integrated into the economic development process. There are many ways to take a sustainable development approach to an urban area, and the theme of a sustainable and ecological city is gaining in importance. The subject of our article focuses on the ecological dimension of the city of Ain Smara in Constantine through an urban analysis based on a questionnaire distributed among the citizens of the city, and this according to the environmental dimension, one of the three pillars of sustainable development. The aim of this article is to integrate new techniques linked to the criteria of ecological cities into the management of the city, which should structure the natural and urban environment of ‘Ain Smara’. Next, we will try to make proposals and recommendations in order to find viable solutions to the various environmental problems suffered by the citizens of this city, and to emerge with a new image of an ecological and sustainable city. If “Ain Smara” becomes an ecological city, well equipped, close to everything, with more nature, less nuisance, a city whose transport networks are efficient and non-polluting and energy are managed in an optimal and economical way, a city where civil society has its voice... in a word, a more pleasant city!
