Amidst Suffering and Belonging: Arabic as a Linguistic Choice in Feminist Discourse in Ahlem Mostaghanemi’s the Dust of Promises
Title : Amidst Suffering and Healing: Arabic as a Linguistic Choice in Feminist Discourse in Ahlem Mostaghanemi’s the Dust of Promises This study explores the use of Arabic as a linguistic tool in Ahlam Mostaghanemi’s feminist discourse, particularly focusing on her novel The Dust of Promises . It investigates how Mostaghanemi employs language to challenge traditional gender roles, cultural norms, and colonial legacies in postcolonial Algeria. Her work shifts from the male voice dominant in her debut Memory in the Flesh to a more liberated female voice in subsequent novels, emphasizing women’s independence and emotional fulfillment. Methodologically, the study employs feminist literary analysis grounded in postcolonial theory and close textual reading to uncover themes of gender, identity, and linguistic expression. The research considers how Mostaghanemi’s use of Arabic enhances the visibility of women’s struggles and resilience, functioning as both a form of resistance and a means of healing. Drawing on feminist theories and postcolonial approaches, the study demonstrates how Mostaghanemi’s linguistic choices serve to articulate a feminist critique of Algerian society, undermining patriarchal and colonial dominance. Her unique narrative style, which combines poetic metaphors and evocative imagery, depicts women’s inner lives and sexualities, breaking sacred taboos and asserting female agency. The deliberate use of metaphor and symbolism illustrates women’s complex identities and their quest for self-expression amid socio-political upheaval. This research contributes to the broader understanding of literary feminism in Arabic and the strategic role of language in asserting women’s voices within patriarchal, postcolonial contexts. Keywords: Arabic , discourse , feminism , identity ,language , patriarchy

From Silnce to Collective Conciousness : Reconstructing the Universal Worldview towards the Palestinian Cause through Slogans and Hashtags
Title :From Silence to Collective Consciousness: Reconstructing the Universal Worldview towards the Palestinian Cause through Slogans and Hashtags Abstract: Activism through short form discourses has gained widespread recognition across diverse cultures and territories, grounded in the principles of national sovereignty and the right to self-determination. This phenomenon has enabled denunciations to serve as powerful calls for change against injustices such as colonialism, racism, and ethnic cleansing. Amidst these dynamics, cultural resonances and the unification of people despite their differences have fostered a renewed sense of human dignity and decency . Slogans and hashtags have played a foundational role in supporting the Palestinian cause broadly, and specifically within the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. These symbolic tools have achieved significant breakthroughs, influencing various domains including politics, society, and the representation of the oppressed community .This study seeks to highlight the close relationship between these discursive practices and elucidates their manifestations in political al contexts and social rearview mirrors . It particularly focuses on the counter-narratives challenging the Zionist legacy of genocide and ethnic cleansing, especially following Gaza’s recent violent conflict. Forms of short rhetoric, such as boycott campaigns and public calls for solidarity in stadiums and communal spaces, exemplify modalities of resistance and mobilization. Methodologically, this research draws on data from multiple corpora spanning literature, history, sociology, media studies, and contemporary politics. These interdisciplinary sources facilitate a critical analysis aiming to deconstruct binaries and colonial ideologies like Zionism and Americocentrism, examining their profound impact on cultural identity and collective memory .Contrary to popular assumptions, segregation and colonial policies have inflicted deep and lasting trauma on collective memory, reflected in both personal and communal experiences. Findings suggest that slogans and hashtags serve as effective denunciatory instruments, empowering affected communities to contest oppressive practices and hold perpetrators accountable within international forums. Such mobilization is pivotal in confronting and seeking to dismantle ongoing Israeli authoritarianism and violence. Keywords: denunciation, ethnic cleansing , hashtags , rhetorics, slogans , Zionism

An Epiphany through the Arrows of Words : Dissecting Alienation and the Absurd in Alaa Al-Aswany’s the Yacoubian Building (2004).
Title: An Epiphany through the Arrows of Words : Dissecting Alienation and the Absurd in Alaa Al-Aswany’s the Yacoubian Building (2004). Abstract : The ongoing interplay between identity , alienation and absurdity as cross-validating stances has shown a considerable resonance across multiple spheres and different milieus, including politics, society, and the representation of the individual . The rationale that governs this study lies in its endeavour to emphasize the undisputed relationship between the stances mentioned above and the way it elucidates their occurrences in the political and social rearview mirrors, including the call for social change and the counter-discourse to the Egyptian authoritarianism and Husni Mubarak’s regime of governance following Egypt’s political instability , as in Alaa Al-Aswany ‘s The Yacoubian Building (2004). Little research has tackled this corpus. Thus, a significant focus of this research depends on a longitudinal attempt to achieve the targeted analysis. To undertake the analytical venture, this research uses data generated from a collection of corpora whose significant fields of expertise are literature, history and sociology to deconstruct oppositional binarisms , socio- psychological setbacks , stagnations and moral decay . It , also , ponders their impact on both language and identity. In contrast to popular belief about modernity , the novel underscores the devastating impact of corruption and the disconnection from traditional values on the persona and memory , and the present can be engagingly noticed in both the personal and collective trauma. The findings of this research suggest that the relationship between identity and ideology cannot be traced through analyzing passages only, as it might extend beyond the written word when it comes to trauma, which requires, in its analysis interviews and group discussions. Keywords: absurdity , alienation , counter-discourse , identity , modernity , and trauma

Title : Unpacking the Post-humanist Entrapment and the Question of Existence in Margret Atwood’s Oryx and Crake (2002). Abstract : The intersection between literary studies and scientific confrontations has always been a mediating factor in today’s world literature .The age of globalization , notwithstanding its apocalypse, has witnessed a quantum leap in digital literacy and genetic denaturalization. Considerably , the consent behind undertaking this research lies in the too-often reconfigured venture to broaden the scopes of literary texts while intermingling cross- sectional narrative techniques and innovative fields of interests including cybernetics , genetic engineering , informatics. In this respect , this scholastic endeavor sheds lights on how Margret Atwood’s Oryx and Crake (2002) as a speculative fiction work builds its plot and copes with futuristic visions to mirror the humanity’s soon-to-be fate . The genre of Sci- Fi and speculative fiction, for researchers , is a complicated production to endow analysis .Thus, to critically analyze the mentioned above corpus and meet the requirements of the descriptive research approach , selected passages , quotes , characters and timelines were selected . However , to serve the essence of this attempt and ensure good quality research , reference to an amalgam of theories in multiple fields constitutes a key-takeaway solidification , these theories were open but not limited to Donna Haraway’s Cybrog Manifesto (1985) and Freidrich Nietzsche's idea of " Ubermensch " in his book Thus Spoke Zarathustra (1883). The findings of this research show that the intersection between literature and science in Atwood’s book consists of new debated topics and themes following the narrative writing and narrative techniques of postmodernity , a venture which lacks a genuine signature of contemporary literature stylistically but not thematically . Towards an African Breaking-free: Afro-futurism as a Call for Change in Octavia Butler's Dawn (1987) "
In this respect , this scholastic endeavor sheds lights on how Octavia Butler’s Dawn (1987) as a speculative fiction work builds its plot and copes with Afro-futuristic visions to mirror the humanity’s soon-to-be fate as it appears as the installment of her ‘’Xenogenesis Trilogy ‘’ . The genre of Sci- Fi and speculative fiction, for researchers , is a complicated production to endow analysis .Thus, to critically analyze the abovementioned corpus and meet the requirements of the descriptive research approach , selected passages , quotes , characters and timelines were selected . However , to serve the essence of this attempt and ensure good quality research , reference to an amalgam of theories in multiple fields constitutes a key-takeaway solidification , these theories were open but not limited to Donna Haraway’s Cybrog Manifesto (1985) and Freidrich Nietzsche’s idea of Ubermensch in his book Thus Spoke Zarathustra (1883). The findings of this research show that the intersection between literature and science in Butler’s book consists of new debated topics and themes following the avant-garde in writing influenced by Aime Cesaire’s Negrtitude and the narrative techniques of postmodernity , a venture which lacks a genuine signature of contemporary literature stylistically but not thematically . it also echoes black existentialism and its deeply-rooted thirst to keep pace with change and progress while destabilizing the influence of whiteness over the other ethnicities . Artificial Intelligence in Action : Unlocking Textual Transfer Nodes through Algorithmic Mediators in Natural Language Processing
Abstract : The growing intersection between world literary texts and cultural preservation has been long associated with translation as a school of thought in comparative literature. The age of globalization or in somewhere called the age of digital avant-garde, notwithstanding its undisputed fingerprints across multiple domains, remains a subject of profound scrutiny. For the translator, literature underscores a reservoir that encompasses one’s own virtues, principles, trajectories and cultural disseminations .However, the realm of AI has scribbled its manifesto hinging on the proliferation of interpreting algorithms and databases. Respectively, this scholastic endeavor sheds lights on how AI platforms such as Deepseek and Meta for language processing transcend the linguistic barriers and promote cultural correctness from ST to TT. To serve a fleshed out analysis, selected passages from sonnets, poems and fiction were subject to scrutiny. This research uses the qualitative approach with an explanatory descriptive focus where textual analysis constitutes its cornerstone. Notably, to ensure a good quality research and meet the requirements of academia, reference to an amalgam of theories in literature and artificial intelligence constitutes a key-takeaway solidification. The findings of this research pinpoints that AI platform can provide accurate translation. However, it cannot exclude the translator’s role from mainstream narratives , remarkably , when culture as a component is brought into a linguistic transfer . It also highlights that the machine translation may provide help and assistance to correct grammar mistakes, spelling and underline fragments. In brief, this scholarly research venture addresses AI platforms as weak to cover the cultural competence and suggests that post-translation must be examined through proofreading by skilled translators and interpreters. Keywords : AI , culture, language ,literature and translation

Unpacking the Postcolonial Paradox: Multiculturalism , Identity ,and Displacement in Gravel Heart 2017
The ongoing interplay between culture , identity, power, and colonialism as cross-validating stances has shown a considerable resonance across multiple spheres and different milieus, including politics, society and the representation of the oriental . The rationale that governs this study lies in its endeavor to emphasize the undisputed relationship between the stances mentioned above and the way it elucidates their occurrences in the political and social rearview mirrors of Zanzibar as a homeland and London as a land of multiculturalism through Abderrazak Gurnah’s magnum opus Gravel Heart (2017). Little research has tackled this corpus due to its novelty. Thus, a major focus of this research depends on a longitudinal attempt to achieve the targeted analysis. To undertake the analytical venture, this research uses data generated from a collection of corpora whose major fields of expertise are literature, history, politics, sociology, and psychology to deconstruct power dynamics and doctrinal ideologies and to spot their impact on both language and identity. In contrast to popular belief, the segregation acts and colonial practices have not only devastated language and identity but memory as well, and the present can be engagingly noticed in both the personal and collective trauma. The findings of this research suggest that the relationship between language, identity, power, and ideology cannot be traced through analyzing passages only, as it might extend beyond the written word when it comes to trauma, which requires, in its analysis, open questionnaires, interviews, observations, and group discussions. Keywords: culture , identity , power and colonialism , multiculturalism and trauma
